Yesterday was a hot sunny day. I was hydrated the whole time... but in the middle of my workout, I started having trouble breathing. It felt like I had a large "air bubble" in my throat or something. My chest didn't hurt much, and my muscles were ok. ONLY my throat was filled with snot and I had trouble breathing. Any way to cure this/ help this???

This commonly happens when doing aerobic exercise, and its not a sign of a problem unless it it occurs during competition and causes you to run slower.

If you have allergies, you may be able to reduce the mucus by taking an antihistamine, such as Claritin or Alavert. Otherwise, an expectorant such as Mucinex thins the mucus and keeps it from building up to a point where it causes respiratory problems.
