By refusing them a ticket to life because we can

Can I just say there is nothing wrong in being an illegal, I applaud people who would rather come into the country illegally to work and live a legit life, knowing fully well that if they try to do it legally they will never qualify.
What irresponsible parent will sit down ,watch his children die of hunger when all he has to do is enter a country illegally work to feed his children.

I challenge any parent that wouldnt do that to save his child

Can we give your job as the first olive branch of what you call"ticket to life" also maybe move there families and friends into your neighborhood? What about in the 80's or 90's when hard working people came from anywhere and were refused citizenship should we call them all back and say we are sorry come back to over crowded once great country, and crowd it a little more. Please come to America and not learn our language let us push 1 on the phone to continue in English. Bring your pregnant mothers so that we could give them health care and refuse our own rightful legal citizens the same health care. Also please come drive our wages down allowing a further gap between the rich and the poor by in-powering the rich to create a slave race to do work for less than an American would although most Americans do have more of an education but are payed less so that we may offer"tickets to life" to every country in the world. Lets just run this great country that the working class built in to the ground and call it Amnesty or a "ticket to life"

They can go back to their own country and get a ticket to life, it is not America's place to support the world. There is a legal process to follow and those that follow it should benefit from doing so and those that don't need to be punished, and punished good. We aren't playing God, by refusing them. You go and try to become an illegal alien in Mexico and see where you wind up. The law is the law and we need to enforce every letter of it when it comes to illegal activity, not just illegal immigration.

I couldn't agree with you more. Unfortunately, people don't always empathise with others and take what they deem to be the moral high ground in any situation. Of course any parent who was promised a better life for them and/or their children would take it without question, I know I would. People in very developed countries like Western Europe, US, Australia etc do not know what suffering in poverty is like. I know we say that there are children in this country living below the poverty line (in other words their parents can't afford the latest designer trainers or an Xbox) but when you see the terrible conditions that some people have to live in then if you have a conscience you cannot blame them for trying to get to the developed countries to help kith and kin.

From the point of view of an illegal alien who came to the US for the sole purpose of earning a living even if he did not comply with the US immigration rules, there is nothing wrong with that. But from the viewpoint of the US government, such blatant disregard of its immigration laws should be dealt with accordingly and the penalty for such violation is specifically stated in the law.

Coming to the US without complying with the legal formalities is without question, actionable. It is as simple as that. We all need to obey the laws of the country where we reside or intend to reside. Failure to do so will lead to chaos and disorder.

Shouldn't your question be addressed to the illegal's government for making them so desperate that they would break another country's immigration laws just to find a "better life"? There are still a lot more like them who choose to stay in their country and make a decent living. What is so special about these illegals versus their countrymen who opted to stay behind? What about those who came here legally? These are the kind we want to live here and not freeloaders. The reason their country does not do anything about these illegals is because they too want to get rid of them bad apples.**

They should follow the same laws and rules that everyone has to follow. They are not special or above the law. There are many country's that have far more poverty than some of the nations the illegal aliens are from. They had a life in their own nation, perhaps it wasn't perfect but how many of Americas legal poor have a perfect or even a good life.? I will keep my attention and my compassion on my fellow legal Americans and not to the betterment of any illegal aliens from any country.

It is the responsibility of the country that they left to look after their interests and not ours. Just as it is the first responsibility of the British Government to look after the interests of the British public. It is not a personal issue, so no amount of emotional blackmail changes the points made above.

In Britain, given the amount of illegal and unnecessary immigration that has already been allowed to take place, I would now impose draconian border controls and, as a matter of urgency, throw out all the illegals and enemies of the state.

That's a noble statement, but don't forget they are here illegally and are not always telling the truth as to their real situation back in their homeland. If you break the law you are expected to pay the price, so why make an exception for these people ? Some of them are murderers rapists and even terrorists, and the reason they left their country is because the authority's in their country want them, so why should we protect these people. The trouble with this country is people like you who's head is so far up your @rse that you cant see the wood for the trees. Its time for us to get tough on these people who are just here because they know we are a soft touch, and they literally CAN get away with murder.

We were once all immigrants, how about the millions of lazy *** Americans that screw our system and those who do work pay for. Everyone should be entitled to live where they choose, but don't expect others to pay for it, you shouldn't have children if you can't afford it. It's really sad for those who are really trying, can't get help and if someone wants to come here, I applaud them.

What responsible person would have children when they know they can not feed them? Why do we still live in a society that says it is o.k. for you to be stupid enough to creat your own problems and dump it on everyone else? If Mexico is such a sh**ty place to live, why are Mexicans still sitting on their a**es and not fighting for it? Why fly a flag of a country you just abandoned?
