The blood pH decreases in diabetic ketoacidosis and levels below 7.0 are common. As the pH decreases below this however survival decreases as well. With a blood pH below 6.5 survivial is unlikely. A blood pH of 1.0 is not possible.

With diabetic ketoacidosis, the acids build up in the body due to a lack of insulin. The acids lower the pH of the blood but not down to 1. That would not be consistent with life.
