Pig fat is "natural."
Pig blood is "natural."
Beef liver is "natural."
All manner of animal bi-product is natural.

Some tea companies use pig blood to darken their tea.

Unless it says exactly what said "natural" flavoring or "natural" coloring is - then vegetarians and vegans should avoid it.

Nobody (some people but..) knows where those natural flavors came from... could be anything... They(food companies) don't have to list where the natural flavors come from on the ingredient label. And then when you contact them to find out where the natural flavors come from... they give you a hard time...

There are lots of products, that use certain animal stuff to make it, one example its the beer, there are beers that are passed thru a certain stuff that its made of fish, so that kinds of beer would not be for vegetarians or vegans (guiness its one example of that), certain schnapps are filtered with bone carbon, that isn´t good for vegetariasn either
but if you look for it in the label they dont mention that.

So if something have natural flavour it doesnt specify what does it have (so it can contain meat of one products derived from it), but one can search for that kind of information there are certain places on internet where i get information about vegetarian stuff, and i have found there some list of products that are safe for vegetarians.
