That we were all spirit "brothers and sisters", including Jesus Christ, and Lucifer (before he became Satan)? They just say something like "Mormons believe that Satan was Jesus' brother" or something like that, and I can't figure out why they don't tell the whole story, since I know they know it. I know I've told the whole story here in Y!A many times, yet, they still don't tell it right! What is the big deal?
LUCIFER was a spirit "brother" to all of us, but when he fell and became Satan, he was no-one's brother, spirit or otherwise, including Jesus. He has no hope, no happiness, and no claim on the inheritance of Christ. Jesus is still the only BEGOTTEN of God, still Messiah, still the second member of the Godhead. Lucifer is nothing.

As I understand it, it comes down to a difference between how different Christian sects view God. The ones that get the most upset about our doctrine of us all bring spirit brothers and sisters are those that believe in the Trinity, that God and Jesus Christ are one person. So by their belief of who and what God is, by saying Satan is his brother, you are elevating Satan to the level of Godhood.
I have found many times, that if you have a rational discussion with people that believe in the Trinity about our view of the Godhead (God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost being seperate, distinct beings), then they are less antagnostic about our belief in us all being Spirit Children of our Heavenly Father. They still think we are wrong, based on their own beliefs, but once they understand how we view the Godhead, they realize we are not trying to elevate Satan to the level of a God.
Make sense?
Green Troll - Mormons believe that everyone ever born on the Earth is a spirit child of our Heavenly Father. So yes, that means you too.

From the year dot there has been a conflict of interest, where religion is concerned.
And there always will be am afraid, because that is the way the world is.
But if they didn't have religion to use as an excuse for battle then they would find something else. And the vicious circle resumes.
Best of it is there will never be a winner.

I don't know if they're all anti-mormon, although maybe a non-mormon, that say that. People just have different beliefs and levels of understanding within every group or denomination. Even within the mormon church people's understanding and knowledge varies a little bit. It's normal.

Because it doesnt bother anti mormons it bothers christians. THe main reason it bothers us christians is because it is not true. Mormons need to stop putting satan up on a pedastal and instead acknowldge him as the evil angel that he is. It is a mormon belief not a christian one. Show me one place in the bible that backs up this ridiculous doctrine.

Here you go again, spouting your irrational dogma that anything that does not support mormonism is "anti".
Once again you've demonstrated your incredible narrow mindedness, lack of intellect and general immaturity.
This is what irritates non-members (whoops - that's 'anti' to zealots like you) who come away with even lesser respect for JosephSmithism.

I'm an anti-mormon and I don't think that Mormons believe that Satan was Jesus. I think Mormans are just completely delusional, irrational, mindless, illogical, racist, semi-retarded, rednecks. That's all. Lastly, am I one of your "spirit brothers"? I'm an atheist. I have no problem being your freind if you don't try to kill me for being part Native American.
