Yes you can, especially during the first year. Usually people experience the most outbreaks during the first year of contracting the virus. I've read, on average, about 4-5 outbreaks occur during the first year (I had two).
Usually the longer a person has had genital herpes though the less outbreaks they tend to get. I've had genital herpes for over 6 years now and my last outbreak was over 2 years ago.

I'm sorry to listen to that I was once identified with form a million genital herpes two years in the past. Unfortunatly many unique factor can cause a plague. Stress, dangerous consuming, razor burns, and numerous of alternative matters. It ussually takes for much longer than 3 days to your first outbreak to depart. You will have cleared plenty of it and did not realize a unmarried bump left and it might have popped and unfold once more without you even understanding. The well information is your first outbreak is continuously the worst they usually get larger every time. I comprehend why you could believe unhappy however believe me you're going to believe larger quickly. Tips to support ease soreness that I use is to get vagisil with numbing and antiitch in it and use a qtip to softly rub the cream on painful locations and while going to the toilet sit down backwards on it so the pee does not come into touch with the sores as so much. Also what I do is take a dry wash rag and placed it within the microwave to have been its hot no longer scorching and pay dry down their. additionally speak in your dr approximately getting the established valtrex and take it daily for a whilst. Its so much inexpensive. Phew I'm sorry that is see you later however I desire I helped you a bit of.

Absolutely - some people who have genital herpes have very frequent outbreaks with lesions at various stages of healing. If you start to have outbreaks this close together, you may have to consider seeing a doctor to take chronic suppressive therapy (daily valtrex or acyclovir) to help minimize these outbreaks. Always use a condom if you are on therapy or not to help minimize the risk of transferring the virus to a partner!
