I found out that my resting heart rate is kind of high. I am stopping smoking and would like to know what else besides that and exercising that I can do to lower my resting heart rate.

If resting HR is >100 per min even in sleep, u need to be worked up for thyroid problems, anxiety neurosis, heart disease etc. If there is no disease, u can take a simple beta blocker like Propranalol 10mg bd for 10 days and watch the results.
