salmon from these two nations is farmed so how can they get away as advertising it as organic...is there some catch?

Organic food doesn't mean grown or caught in indigenous habitats. Organic just means no pesticides or artificial additives.

It's organic insofar as unlike some intensive farm fisheries, there is more room for the fish to swim, feeds without artificial colourant dyes are used, and pesticides to combat parasites like sea lice etc are kept to a minimum. if you're in2 conservation, want to eat 'real salmon', go for organic and a catch and release policy if you fish for them!
There is a catch -in that Sainsbury's, Asda and other supermarkets were recently revealed in an an investigation to have sold salmon variously as 'wild' or organic when it was shown to be the intesively farmed variety. Look for the bands of fat on the flesh, they are much narrower on wild and organic salmon, where the fish have had the opportunity to exercise their muscle

Organic milk is farmed, as are all your organic vegetables. It simply means that they have been treated and allowed to grow naturally without the aid of pesticides etc.
The same would be true of the salmon, yes they have been farm raised, out at sea, but they have been fed on natural food stuffs

organic means fed on organic food and that no chemicals are used in the farming
wild salmon are different
there is wild salmon from ireland but it is different from organic

Organic doesnt mean wild. Just fed with naturally grown food.
As opposed to chemically enhanced food.

If the company has a certificate which officially confirms and authorizes them as organic and to advertise themselves as same, then they can.
