We can eat tons of stuff. It's a big misconception that vegans are super limited in what they can eat. All the time when I tell people I'm vegan, they ask if all I eat is lettuce!

We can have almost everything: bean, rice and veggie burritos, pizza with soy cheese, pasta with tomato sauce, gardenburgers, fake chicken strips, tofu hotdogs, salads, cereal (with soy or rice milk), oatmeal, stir fry veggies, pad thai, fried rice (minus the egg), tons of kind of soups like tomato, lentil, potato or borscht, even soy ice cream!

You just have to know what you can and can't have, and you'd be surprised how many products out there are really vegan. Lots of products have a vegan version, so we can make most non-vegan foods into vegan ones, such as butter, milk, cheese, chicken, pork, and eggs. It's much easier than it seems once you learn what options you have.

you can always but vegetarian meat at the stores. Boca Burgers is a good brand and it has fake meat. There are also other Boca products such as lasangna and chicken patties. It also depends on how old you are if it is healthy or not. If you are young it is not that healthy because you need the proteins and you need the energy in the foods you can't eat. I am a vegetarian but I don't eat red meat and that's it.

The PC nutballs from PETA and the like will tell you that not eating any dairy products, no eggs, and no meat is healthy, but it is not as healthy as a balanced diet that contains some of these things.

Some of the "Quorn" range is pretty good. Check out your local health shops some will guide you to their best products. Vegi-Roast in the freezer section (in a green box) a must for Sunday lunch. Easy Soup Recipe. Any veg. Potato`s, Tomato, Swede, Carrots, Pumpkin, or a mix of root veg. Always add an onion. Veg Stock Cube (Knorr) range is pretty good. Add any diced veg, pour enough water to cover the vegetables add stock cube, bring gently to the boil, then leave to simmer until all the vegetables are very soft (25-30min's). Allow to cool slightly then pour in a blender or food processor and puree until smooth, add seasoning, thin with extra liquid if required, *re-heat for 5 mins or allow the soup to go cold and freeze. *Also you can add (COOKED Wild Rice or Basmati) for extra filling at the end. I hope this helps. Lain.

a few of my friends are vegan and they are limited of course to what they eat, but its really not a big challenge. subway the sandwich places white and wheat bread are vegan, and pizza huts pan crust i believe is vegan, there are many options, its all about reading labels

and it is healthy for you, meat has lots of preservatives and the animals alot of times are fed steroids that make the meat not good for you at all.

There is so much you can eat if you're vegan. Pasta with different sauces, vegetables, fake meat, beans, rice, potatoes, cereals with soy milk, vegan ice cream, soy "schnitzel", soup, pizza (my little sister eats meat but she really enjoys my vegan pizza), salads, fruits, and so on...
I eat what other people eat but without animal products.
(Sorry for my English, I'm German.)

Soy and tofu based products; however, soy products are not good for you if you eat a lot due to it causing hormonal issues which causes you to be unbalanced which then causes periods to be irregular, mood issues and other problems that you should watch so keep that to a minimal with your other fruits/vegetables. Also, mushrooms are super important in this type of diet...grill them they are delish!

you basically just eat veggies and fruit... it's healthy if you try hard. since you don't get all the vitamins and nutrients u do with meat you have to make sure to substitute that through vegetarian foods...
