6 years ago I was diagnosed with having had a heart attack and an expanded heart. I have since stopped all of my bad habits but still have chest pain and sweats with confusion and nausea that last for 5 to 15 minutes then go away. I had that happen again 2 days ago and now my chest pain won't go completely away and I keep getting sick to my stomach and breaking out in sweats. Whats going on, I am average weight and 53 years old.

You most certainly need to see a physician very soon. If the symptoms get worse with activity, it probably is some kind of blockage that is causing your heart to not get the O2 it needs. However, if your acitivity level does not affect the symptoms, it may be angina. If you have some nitro tabs, you should probably put one under your tongue.

You do not mention if you have a Cardiologist??

I helped care for my Mom who had Mitro Valve Prolapse and and massively enlarged heart for 35 years.

So get a specialist. You need a thorough workup to determine what is going on.

Good Luck.

High doses of Co-Q 10 is very good for heart patients. Once you are on heart meds. eat NO grapefruit or drink NO grapefruit juice. It totally ruins the benefits of the medications.

Get off the computer, call 911, and have the ambulance take you to the nearest emergency room. Your symptoms are consistent with heart attack. The longer you delay, the worse your chances.

Even a mild form of heart/chest pain can be fatal. I would suggest that you call 911 everytime you have chest pain.

Consult a good heart specialist. I wish you well.

Good Luck.

You need to go to a doctor or hospital and get it checked out.
Please don't take chances with your life, If it's nothing serious , the checkup will still give you peace of mind.
Take care of your health, and you.

None of what you are saying is normal. Given your history, I would gather my insurance information, health records and then get my rear end to the emergency room right away!!

They say that the chance of recovery is increased if it's addressed early on, so you might want to turn off your computer and see about it.
