She is a hypertensive, 52yrs of age, she is on a combination of amlodipine and atenolol for 15 years. These days she gets fatigued in doing tasks which priorly she could do like making meals , some little cleaning job etc. She has never been in a gud health. She would not go to a doctor despite my persistent requests. Please give me some idea of what it cud be?

there is a disorder called chronic fatigue syndrome it is a medical condition that there is no cure for but it is treatable and is not fatal but you do feel tired and kind of like your taking the flu all the time it could also be fibro myalgia they are almost the same but fibro comes with alot of pain and other symptoms you didn't mention so i would guess chronic fatigue if its not that her meds may need changed blood pressure meds can make you feel tired and bad to she really needs to have a dr. diagnose and treat her i wish her the best of luck

Since she is already doing yoga and in spite of that if she feels fatigue, there may be problem with the blood circulation in the body. Have you checked her cholesterol level? Any test has been conducted for diabetes? Any ECG test is done to check for coronary artery disease?

Well it can be due to atenolol or some cardiac enlargement secondary to prolonged hypertension or both.
Take her to good cardiologist to sort out the problem.

u better consult a cardiologist!!!
excessive fatigue is an early indicator of limited exercise tolerance!!!
if she is subjected to a TREADMILL she may fail to complete it!!
these r the indicators that her coronaries,i.e vessels suppliying blood to the heart is getting blocked!
do not panic
she may require an angiogram to confirm
