A pregnancy test detects the presence of a hormone called hCG (human chorionic gonadotrophin). It is only produced during pregnancy.

Monistat, birth control pills and medications will not cross-react with hCG.

False positive pregnancy tests are pretty rare (often associated with a recent abortion or miscarriage).

So to recap, if you used Monistat, it would not give you a fake positive pregnancy reading. You are very likely to be pregnant. See a doctor for a confirmation and prenatal treatment.
