does he have insurance?

If so he can't do this, but if not then that is the answer... tell him to ask his doctor about Patient Assitance Programs

I hate that they are done this way.. I have a med that I MUST TAKE & my co-pay is $75 per month not to mention there are no samples

In some states (not in Alabama) there are also programs for the "underinsured" - contact UnitedWay to find out about your area

some doctor's will give free samples.... have him ask his doctor for samples. Montel Williams promotes a program where people get free meds from the manufacturers- I don't know what it's called though. Maybe if you do an internet search, you'll find some link to this program.

Most cities have free clinics. Try to find one. Call information for a phone number or call a hospital and ask them. If you know of a doctor, call his office for help.
