You can but it will hurt and you can get scar tissue it is recommended that over 2.5 mls to give two needles in different locations

That's enough to kill an elephant.My doses are 25 units twice a day. Remember one insulin pen is 3ml which is equal to 100 units multiplied by 3.

You can give more than 3mL as an IM injection, but it'll hurt!

It really depends what kind of medication you are trying to give. Maybe you should specify if it is insulin or not that you are trying to ask here.
