It could be a heart attack...go to the ER..if you are wrong, they won't fault you for getting it checked out. Here is a link..

Stay Calm Harry.

If you were having a cardiac episode your arm would either hurt or feel heavy. You could have some pain in your chest, not particularly behind your left shoulder.

If you still feel weird tomorrow morning make an appointment with your doctor to sort out your fears.

It would be unusual but not impossible for someone as young as you to have a heart attack.

You should get yourself to the ER right away. At least call them on the phone. My father was young, had pain in his shoulder and arm, was nauseous and leaned across the hood of his car. He began to sweat and within an hour died!
I don't like scaring you but had he gone directly to the hospital he may have lived while longer. He was never sick before, weight was great and he was a builder and a farmer, Fit!
Please see a Dr.

No.

Calm down. The pain behind your left shoulder is NOT a heart attack. You'd have pain in your chest, your arm would be numb and pain in your jaw. Not to mention----you are WAY too young to be having a heart attack.
You have a pinched nerve and probably anxiety/panic attacks.

Have it checked out just in case. It's better to be safe.

According to the National Library of Medicine, other possible symptoms include:

* Shortness of breath
* Nausea or vomiting
* Anxiety
* Cough
* Fainting
* Lightheadedness - dizziness
* Palpitations (feeling like your heart is beating too fast)
* Sweating, which may be extreme

They also say that "a heart attack is a medical emergency. If you have symptoms of a heart attack, seek immediate medical help."

go to the er better safe than sorry.
Pain is system something is wrong............
it could be several things.
some people don't have cold sweats and nausea.
if you are having a heart attack and don't get treated you may damage your heart muscle severely or die....
Get over what you think a doctor might think. They say more people die that could had lived because they were in denial. if you get heart damage and live that is bad too,
they can treat you if get to er in time with little or know damage now GOOOO and get off this computer........
