If his snoring is severe, he may have sleep apnea (which means he would stop breathing in his sleep). Most people who have sleep apnea do not know they have it until they have a sleep study. Does he wake himself up snoring or gasping for air? Does he wake up choking? Does he feel really tired during the day? If he does any of those things, he should talk to his doctor about seeing a sleep specialist and getting a sleep study. Those are all signs of sleep apnea. Sleep apnea can be dangerous to him and others, especially if he is sleepy while driving. It can increase his risk of cardiac disease as well. If he has sleep apnea, he can be treated with what's called a CPAP. It will provide pressure to keep his airway open while he sleeps. This will stop the snoring and keeps him from having apnea.

That is so funny!!!! My bf was snoring so loud last night I had to get up and go sleep on the couch!!! I'm not really sure, but I think there are some kind of pills for that. Best to talk to a professional about it though, before he does or takes anything!! No wonder I feel sleepy today!!LOL!!!!... Sorry, I'm laughing at my situation, not yours!!!!!!!

Well if it is not too serious try the breathe right strips. (Not sure if that is exactly what they are called.) If it is bad enough that he stops breathing then he may have sleep apnea. He should talk to his dr. and go to a sleep clinic to get diagnosed. He may need to use a machine to help him get enough oxygen at night.

Get him to lie on his side and prop a pillow up behind his back to stop him rolling onto his back. Also, put a bowl of water on the window ledge before you go to bed and buy a sudafed plug in.
