How often should I get my mvp checked by my Doctor? I have had a chest x-ray and echo doppler, do I need a stress test? I rarely have symptoms, although I am on inderal 25mg. I only have problems with high humidity and stress? Maybe if I indulge on Fast food or if I have too many beers I may have some palps, but on an everyday basis I am fine. I also work a physical job 40 hours a week.

No you do not need a stress test if you are asympotomatic or if you only have trace or mild regurgitation and your ejection fraction is good on your echo. You should have an echo every one to two years depending on the aforementioned. Stay away from caffeine, no smoking. Do cardio type exercise if your doctor oks but stay away from weight lifting. Always have a round of antibiotics before any dental cleanings to prevent endocarditis.
