just adding on to everyone else:

It's not just "chinamen" as you call it, but many other Asian cultures. Although, most people don't like to eat dog meat because they are "a man's best friend" and are almost as real as a human.

who says Chinamen??

There was an issue about eating dog in Korea I think it was around the time of the olympics out there. It's not our place to say what another culture can do you know? I was vegetarian for 13 years and I never told anyone else that they should or shouldn't eat meat.

Not all Chinese, regardless men or women have actually eaten dogs and no, not all Chinese restaurants offer this meat in their menu.
It is only a handful that have eaten dog meat and not many like it. Some say, it is like pork. I am Chinese but have not eaten it nor will I want to try it. Dog meat is classified as exotic meat.
It is the same instance as some, eating snails is a norm where else some find it disgusting.
It is said, eating dog meat is for the aphrodisiac properties...

No... Chinamen don't eat dogs. On the other hand the Japanese have a certain sushimi that uses dog that is bread to be eaten. But as far as eating dog or cat from Mr and Mrs Wongs china bistro on your corner... No.

Many Western countries hunted whales until they are endangered and now blame it on the Japanese who are the last ones still killing whales. The Americans nearly wiped out the bisons. Some Chinese eat dogs. That is not common practice. Some other Asian cultures eat dogs too.

Your question has a definite racist slant.

Sometimes but we prefer chicken, pork, lamb, beef, venison, duck just like you. Vietnamese and Koreans like dogmeat though. I love dogs so I won't eat them unless it is an extreme emergency famine situation. Lebanese love raw lamb's liver. The French like foie gras (goose liver but more usually duck liver). What do you like? Are you a vegetarian?

Yeap, not just dogs but also bears, donkeys, monkeys, cats, rats, squirrels, snakes and anything that moves. Also, the rarer the animal, the better it is.
