I had my blood work done for my cholesteral level. I'm 33 6'2 and around 215# . Should I go back or not worry about it? My parents told me that 301 is very elevated and I need to go in asap. What do you think?

Max should be under 200. However they prefer that you be closer to 100.

Losing a lot of weight would help. If diet and exercise don't bring it down you need to ask about medicines. High cholesterol is not a joke - heart attacks and stroke are almost inevitable as you age unless you clean up your act.

That is pretty high, however the rule is usually to confirm it with a second test. Total cholesterol should be less than 200. High cholesterol puts you at risk for heart disease and stroke, and since you are only 33, you will probably want to get this treated so that you can live a long, healthy life.

It must be! I think the world would be a much happier place if we all carried a lint roller and used it with wanton disregard on every person we meet. And why stop at lint? Let's pick nits out of one another's hair; scrape the spinach off a co-worker's teeth; clean the lint from the belly button of that dude who rides the bus every morning and reeks of spoiled onions; file down your boss's fingernails! Oh the peace and harmony we will achieve as a species. Darwin would weep.
