Evidence that Green Living is now mainstream can be seen in these places:
* Education in schools (starting from a very young age)
* Supermarkets imposing a plastic bag tax
* Shoppers taking their own bags to avoid accumulating more plastic bags
* The volume and range of organic products available
* Increase in solar heating in homes
* Increase in recycling bins and the use of them
* Growing popularity of services like freecycle.

Have to agree. People try to look like they are doing what is popular so they might be - um - popular! Oh look at me! Wonder if thsoe same people would even THINK of carrying their own grocery bag to the store for reuse! ooooo or maybe sell their Hummer - or Suburban - how often do you see 1 person driving down the road in one of those things? Those are the same ones that pretend to be interested and then when the front door is shut and nobody can see they do whatever....no sincerity....

I think a lot of people just give it lip service. Just look at all the SUV's that are still on the road.
