Twitching and numbness can be signs for a lot of different things. Most, aren't serious, some are very serious.

It would be in her best interest to have her blood sugar tested at the very least to see if there is a problem there. She should see a doctor to help her find the underlying problem. He or she is doing to want to do a blood test to confirm or rule out blood sugar and other issues.

Urge her to get medical attention. Drive her there if you have to. Hold her hand during the blood work. Whatever it takes.

Putting it off may only lead to further problems down the road. Again, there is a chance that she does not have a serious problem. However, you don't want to take chances with your health without medical attention.

I think you should take her to the hospital so they could stabilize her, or ask if she has any insulin or any other type of medication. but if these symptoms are new I think you should call 911 and get her to the ER immediately. Good luck, and I hope your friend is ok, I'll pray for her.
