If it is only going to be for a few people, you could host a Murder Mystery Party. If it is going to be a really big party, plan on a scavenger hunt. It might take more planning, like forming different teams, but it would be great conversation when everyone ends up back at your house.

out of the keg fill as many dixie plastic cups as a person can carry . then tell them to go up to the second floor where everyone is waing and serve them all... WITHOUT SPILLING A DROP!!! this of course needs a basement or 3 story house and the elevator is not allowed! I set a frat party record of 20!

Make up name tags of famous people they can be dead and alive, celebrities, rock stars, presidents, actors,etc. When a new person comes to your door greet them and tell them that you are putting a name tag on their back. They can ask anyone a question to guess the identity of the person on their name tag. It is a good mixer. When a person guess the name of the person on their tag they then put it on the front of their shirt.
