Ghee = clarified butter. You can make it yourself by slowly melting butter in a saucepan on the stove. Allow the milk solids to sink to the bottom & pour off the yellow butter fat.

You can make ghee, look up the instructions I don't want to steer you wrong, but I do know you can make it by dividing the solids from the butter after it is in a liquid state. it is not hard to do. Like removing fat from pan drippings to make a gravy. If you don't want to it is probably okay to used unsalted butter. Ghee stands a higher level of temperature.

You can easily make ghee from butter. Just melt butter in a pan, after it melts completely spluttering sound will come. The ghee is ready when the sound stops. Now filter this and use.

It would be available in all supermarkets. Look in the butter or margarine section.
Both the major supermarket retailers stock Ghee for online shopping (see below) so there is no reason why you wouldn't find in on the shelves.
