They're pretty much ubiquitous in coffe and pastry shops on the East Coast, but I think the best ones are at Dean and DeLuca (which is where Felicity supposedly worked, for a little more TV trivia for you...) Also, you could try Au Bon Pain, which is also delicious.

They sell them every where in NY it depends what part you are going to. If I knew what part you were going I could tell you a ton of places but I am not sure what part you are going to but try to stick with the bakerys not the dinners or anything as they are not as good
