quit buying cigarettes.
Stopping is an issue of will power! If you truly want to quit... YOU WILL DO IT... and you wont need these idiotic senseless products that spend billion of marketing dollars telling you that you NEED their products because you are too weak to quit on your own.
It is a battle of your conscience that knows it is wrong & dangerous, and your will power that says "it is just too fun".
example, I quit cold turkey after my step father served 2 terms of vietnam and survived, but i had to watch him suffer & die from throat cancer.
If you truly wanted to do it, tell yourself "i am quitting, and NOTHING will stop me from quitting." When you have the urge, take a deep breath... but dont eat... you will get FAT like me!

I quit a 5 pack a day habit. I cut back a few a day every week
Those stop smoking aids appear to work best with folks smoking 1/2 pack a day or less

A physical and chemical addiction are involved with smoking. Som people have one some have both. Your use to having your mouth and hand occupied so find a substitute that fits you. The chemical side is a bit harder to go at alone. Physical ativity might help if not talk to your doctor about meds that would assist you.Just a bit of advice stay away from bars and clubs which are full of smoke, at least until you cravings are under control.

Staying away from smoke was always one of the hardest things for me. I never wanted to leave the house, or the office for that matter for years. Started at a young age then stopped cold turkey for a while, but then suffered from this issue as I just mentioned. Honestly, the only thing they helped me stay away from cigarettes was vaping. I know you can ask specific questions in www.vapeix.io/social if your needing to figure out something that works for you, but I am just suggesting to try this route temporarily until someone makes a patch/pill or something that doesn't come with all of the side effects .

Just decide, During the day when I'm still smoking, I just realize and ask my self. What is the good benefit I'm getting from smoking? Then I answer my self nothing but cancer. My grand father from father and mother side died from lung cancer, I did not have a chance to see them, That's why my father did not try to smoke because he witness my grand father suffering from it, His the one who's in the hospital with his father. Any way go to lung center / hospital and look around if it is allowed to your country or ask permission if they allow you interview those who are in pain because of smoking and they will tell you that, they are regretting that they smoke. JUST DECIDE dude "sorry for the caps you really need it" ^_^

Try smoking herbs instead of tobacco. It isn't as bad for you as tobacco, but you still can get a similar feeling as you would if you were smoking tobacco. You could also do the standard stuff like a nicotine patch or gum. Hope this helps!

1) Stop Buying Cigarettes
2) Toothpicks... Whenever you get a craving just chew on a toothpick, a large portion of the addiction is merely an oral fixation (you need something to play with, chew on etc...)
3) Jog... This will help increase your stamina and help your lungs get healthy again, and will also cause you to feel healthier about twice as fast, which gives you an overall quicker result, for those people who need instant gratification its a nice reward for putting yourself thru it...
4) Avoid Smokers for a couple of weeks if at all possible, its hard for teh first two weeks or so to avoid the hait of "Social Smoking"
5) Visit a Cancer ward at a hospital, ask how many of their patients are victims of Throat/Lung Cancer... Ask for a percentage...

Although I am not a smoker, however I do encounter with friends who are smokers and they are able to stop it. However at times, words are much more easier to express than doing it. :))
I should say that discipline plays an important role. Perhaps, you are able to chew something, maybe a sweet to stop that wanting of smoking,
Other than that, I have heard a pill that is given to smokers which can be effective. Do check it our with the doctors.
And lastly, moral support by people around you is vital too. Especially your family members and friends.
All the best!
