I just had myself tested for diabetes two weeks ago, and my Doctor sent my blood off to a lab to be examined. I had high blood sugar at the time of testing, so it worried him, but my urine was ok. When the results arrived, he said I didn't have diabetes, but I should check myself once a week...which didn't make any sense if I don't have it.

But everytime I drink a dr.pepper, which is three times a day, I feel alittle restless. I also feel anxiety at the same time. My calves feel alittle numb. I don't have any of the major symptoms, though..and that feeling always goes away. It only happens when I drink my first dr.pepper for the day.

I use to drink about 6-8 of them a day too, so I go to the bathroom alot, lol. But could someone explains some things to me?

Unless you blood sugar was tested after fasting, the glucose figure mean very little. Especially if you are drinking large (3 cans) of sugarly drink, it is expected that the number is high. I am also guessing, Dr. Pepper is not the only sugarly food you consume.

Also, urine test will not show anything unless you already have the diabetis.

What your doctor is saying is, you have a tendency to develop diabetis. Either that or you may be in early stage of diabetis, called pre-diabetis.

By checking once a month, if the number starts to climb and stay high, you will know you are heading for trouble, and perhaps he can make an early intervention.

Next time, ask for a test called A1C. It is a blood test, and the result is a 3 month average of your blood sugar. It is a far better test than on the spot blood test which just show what it was at the time the blood was taken.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Maybe the reason your blood sugar was high at the time of testing was because you had eaten recently. Blood sugars tend to rise after we eat and should return to normal about 2 hours after a meal. In diabetics, blood glucose levels stay high much longer. All soda is high in carbs.. A 12 oz. can is about 40 carbs and most diabetics eat only about 60 carbs per meal. A Dr. Pepper first thing in the morning is just like a cup of coffee. Dr. Pepper is extremely high in caffeine and drinking a lot of it may cause you to become shaky because of its high caffeine content. Shakiness in diabetics is USUALLY a sign of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).

It depends on how old you are. How much you weigh. And other factors. E-Mail me and tell me what your other symptoms are... seanw004@yahoo.com

If you get headaches, can't sleep, have back or side pain, those might be signs. Another tip. Don't drink so much Dr. Pepper, it can only do bad.
If you need a caffeine boost, drink coffee, if you don't like coffee, drink a sugar free energy drink. And if you must continue to drink Dr. Pepper, drink diet. It tastes exactly the same. I'm a type 1 diabetic and i drink diet Dr. pepper and t's great.

Well the first thing to do is to stop the soda, go to the health food store and buy some books about white sugar. Processed sugar is one of the worst things you can eat. It's the reason we have so much heart disease and diabetes in this country. Sugar also weakens your immune system.
White sugar is a processed food, almost all of the vitamins etc. are taken out of it. Our bodies were never meant to eat this stuff. In the old days people use molasses to sweeten their baked goods.

Good grief please quit drinking Dr. Pepper unless you drink the sugar free kind. You know you may have a problem or you are just in the first stages of diabetes so please take care of yourself.

Cut out white things: sugar and carbohydrates.
