I have thought for the last two days that I've had a bad cold. I've had a slight (very slight) fever and I've been feeling all around achy and just yuck. I was reading about sinusitis, and all of my symptoms seem to fit acute sinusitis. I just don't have much pressure around my eyes or cheekbones. I have a mildly bad sore throat and my throat seemed to be a little swollen yesterday but the swelling has gone down. I just woke up from a deep sleep because I could feel blockage in my sinus cavities. This may sound disgusting, but I sort of sucked the mucous from my nose/sinus cavity to spit it out. I don't know the exact term for this action but I'm sure you know what I'm saying. Anyway, a HUGE bloody/green booger came out when I did it, almost like a solid. I feel SO much better now, I feel so relieved and my nose instantly stopped running. Do you think this is what was causing me to be sick since it was blocking? Is this pretty normal? Sound like sinusitis?

I have had that when I have had sinusitis. A little blood is not anything to worry about. Glad you are feeling better.

It might be. But, if it continues see your doctor.

Get some Saline (salt water) nose drops Then work well.
