My grandma is 85 years old. She has a slight heart problem and she is saying she cannot breath very well. Is there any type of an inhaler we can get for her that doesn't require a prescription? She is taking tylenol, folic acid and iron.

Babe if she has health problems you can't just give what you think she needs. She has to see a doctor.
Shortness of breath can indicate so many things and an inhaler might not be the solution, it can even harm her!
Take her to the Doctor.
Please

There is but I as a professional respiratory care practitioner do not recommend it.

Having trouble breathing can be many different things and some very serious. I would think about going to see a doctor or even going to the ER.

Good luck.

I wouldn't trust any inhaler that is not prescribed by a Doctor. She needs to be evaluated for the problem. good luck.

She really should see her doctor before taking any medication. There may be an underlying condition that she may be unaware of..
