yes, an ovo-lacto(lacto-ovo) vegetarian...
Ovo means eggs
Lacto means milk....
So if someone only ate eggs, you could call them an ovo vegetarian.... and the other way around.
Someone that eats fish is not a vegetarian... Fish is an animal, none of that pescavegetarian crap, you either eat meat or you don't :)
Vegan eats no meat, and no animal products.

To answer your question and some of the answerer's : A person is considered a vegetarian if they do no eat meat but drink milk and eat cheese (without animal rennet) ..the reason by definition .. and in other words no animal has been killed for milk or cheese ..except animal rennet which is an enzyme that comes from the stomach of baby calf's .. baby calf's have it so they can digest their mother's milk (the cow) .. a Vegan is a vegetarian who believes no animals should be used in anyway for food, leather,experimentation,cosmetic testing, no by products as well .. it is a full lifestyle that goes far beyond your diet and a belief that animals are not ours to use in any way .. It doesn't mean that vegetarians do not care about animals but there are degrees of belief .. vegan being a very strict vegetarian ..Now fish is an animal and people may call themselves vegetarians who eat fish BUT this is simply not true .. and why they want to call themselves vegetarians is beyond me ........ I can play softball but that doesn't make me a major league player and if I said that I was because I could hit a baseball .. you would say.."No your not" .. For Holly who says she is a dietitian or deitician but doesn't know what a vegetarian is ...huh ??? and for those who think a chicken , or poultry or white meat is vegetarian ..it is not ..that is simply the facts ..

Vegetarianism, prepare of ingesting meals from the plant kingdom. There are various forms of vegetarians. mutually as all vegetarians sidestep some or all animal meals—that's, meat, hen, fish, eggs, and milk—semi-vegetarians sidestep meat yet consume hen and different animal meals. Lacto-ovo-vegetarians sidestep hen and fish to boot as meat, yet do incorporate milk and eggs of their diets. the only animal meals fed on via lacto-vegetarians are milk products. some vegetarians prepare veganism, ingesting no animal meals in any respect. Many vegans sidestep donning animal products, including leather-based and wool, and are additionally plenty greater in all probability than different vegetarians to shun alcoholic drinks, processed meals, and meals grown with chemical fertilizers or insecticides.

You are either a carnivore or a vegetarian,
but there appears to be different levels of being a vegetarian, to the extreme level of a vegan, where some people's diet would not include honey because it comes from a bee...(You really have to decide what is good for you and how you feel)...check out wikipedia for different answers...take care

Yes.
vegetarians do not eat animals
:)
dairy = vegetarian
eggs = vegetarian
fish = animal eater, and therefore, not vegetarian
People who eat fish or chicken are not vegetarian, but are "meat-reducers."
Some cheeses are made with rennet, which is from baby cow stomachs... don't eat those cheeses.
