soy products vs. the real thing ,what is better?

Are you asking whether fake meat tastes better than animal meat, which is better in general, or which soy product is the best? Question's a little ambiguous there.

For taste, sometimes the taste of fake meat is better, sometimes the taste of real meat is better, and usually they are equally good-tasting but slightly different.

But even when the real meat is a little tastier than the analog, it is just not worth killing an animal to me, so in that sense, the soy/wheat/veggie "meat" products are *always* better.

Edit: Actually, the only meat I can think of that soy products don't emulate well is bacon - and even if I didn't care for animal well-being so much, the incredible unhealthiness of bacon combined with the general filthiness of pig farms would drive me away from it anyway.

Soy products are real and not fake, so I don't understand the question. Further, soy products, in their unprocessed form, do not serve as a meat substitute.

Well depends what want. If u want the fake meat to taste exactly like real meat you'll think that animal meat tastes better.

But since I became a vegetarian and later vegan, I changed my ideas about food. I dont live on burgers and fries anymore. Fast food doesnt attract me much anymore, since I love to cook now.

Speaking of "real", to me "real stuff" is vegetables, fruit, beans, seeds... etc

I do love tofu though.

better how? nutritionally, soy is better for you, especially women. I like the way they taste, too, but they don't taste like real meat.
