There is no need to panic, but cannot be avoided as it's natural.
The heart is not getting enough oxygen means that the Coronary Arteries have narrowed down and blood flow to the heart (Myocardium) is reduced which might be causing symptoms of various types e.g Angina, shortness of breath etc.
You just take it easy and wait for your dad to consult a cardiologist which is mandatory.
All the best.

Hi have had heart problems 10 yrs now. Dont worry just set up an appt with a cardioligist. If your Dads Dr thought it was a 911 she would have sent him to the hospital. We live in great times. He should be in great hands. Good luck

No. Only a Doctor can help. Don't wait. There is nothing to
fear from these Doctors. Maybe a Angioplasty would fix it.
I had one and it is painless. If you wait it could get much worse, and even cause death. There is also a chance that medication could help. Listen to your Doctor. If you aren't
satisfied with his treatment, get a 2nd. Opinion from a different Doctor.
