Diabetes can be caused by too little insulin (a hormone produced by the pancreas to control blood sugar), resistance to insulin, or both.

To understand diabetes, it is important to first understand the normal process of food metabolism. Several things happen when food is digested:

A sugar called glucose enters the bloodstream. Glucose is a source of fuel for the body.
An organ called the pancreas makes insulin. The role of insulin is to move glucose from the bloodstream into muscle, fat, and liver cells, where it can be used as fuel.
People with diabetes have high blood sugar. This is because their pancreas does not make enough insulin or their muscle, fat, and liver cells do not respond to insulin normally, or both

There are many risk factors for diabetes, including:

A parent, brother, or sister with diabetes
Obesity
Age greater than 45 years
Some ethnic groups (particularly African Americans, Native Americans, Asians, Pacific Islanders, and Hispanic Americans)
Gestational diabetes or delivering a baby weighing more than 9 pounds
High blood pressure
High blood levels of triglycerides (a type of fat molecule)
High blood cholesterol level
Not getting enough exercise

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Type 2 diabetes is a chronic condition that affects the way your body metabolizes sugar the main source of fuel

People with Type 2 Diabetes have insulin resistance which prevents insulin from processing glucose properly. Soon more and more insulin is produced to overcome the resistance. During the later stages of the disease as the resistance increases, the blood glucose increases to above safe levels, but the body can't use it properly and the body actually starves for more energy.

If left untreated and again most people don't know they have it, disastrous results are sure to come. It increases risk for eye, nerve, blood vessel, heart, and kidney problems.

Some people are born with it and young children get Type I

Usually later in life people can get Type II. There are all sorts of factors: age, weight (obese people are really at risk for diabetes), ethnic group (Native Americans and African Americans are more prone to diabetes)

There is also gestational diabetes where the mother become diabetic only during her pregnancy.

Here is a really goog link

Diabetes could be due to genes or your lifestyle. You can't do anything about hereditary diabetes.
But Type 2 diabetes, you could prevent it via a sensible diet and through exercise.

First I'd say someone who has gotten really sick with a fever from whatever disease they caught and when their system is down BOOM it hits. I have a friend who NEVER had it UNTIL she got pregant and now 14 years later - she still has it. My soon to be ex-husband has it. He remembers being real sick and also stating eating ALL the wrong things. HOWEVER his mother is a little overweight and eats sugar in her orange juice, hot cocoa, etc. like it's going out of style and she hasn't been diagnosed yet. CONFUSED?? Me too!
