yes to certain extent !But it surely make your arterial wall think and non elastic which promotes the atheromatous growth inside it which allow to clot happen and that will precipitate heart attack !It allows narrowing of the arteries so much so that two type of disease is happening one is called Burger disease and second is called Raynuad disease !In both this narrowing causes dry gangrene of the lower legs to that extent that one has to make amputation of the legs !So be care full and smoke to make ill effect to your self only and in general !Meaning there by smoke at a place where all smokers are gathered and not in public place ! it sure does.It pushes the bad cholesterol (LDL) up and the good guy (HDL) down.Quitting smoking ASAP is your best option as a high LDL can choke the arteries in your heart and elsewhere.
