yeah, probably... They don't "have" to put exactly what is in the food on the ingredient label... they get around that by putting, "natural flavors" and not listing what those natural flavors are. Sneaky and wrong if you ask me... even if you call/e-mail the company they still won't tell you exactly what the "natural flavors" are, just whether or not they contain a specific ingredient.

Vegan seems to have answered spot-on, though... I just wanted to put my opinion in there:) you know for those people that think that the companies "have" to list every single ingredient.

It is possible. If the ingredients just list "enzymes", you should call and find out what kind. I just found out that Goldfish crackers contain beef "enzymes". It goes the same with "spices" and "natural flavors", they don't specifically list what those spices and flavors are. Pretty soon we won't be able to eat anything. Now I don't eat anything that contains those words cause who knows what's really in it.

This is a list of seasoned products made without porcine enzymes.

It looks like the standard Doritos are not on this list (meaning they DO contain pork enzymes.)

Cheetos appear to be on the list though.

None of the Cheetos are considered Kosher, which means that there very likely is some nonvegetarian animal products them.

Here's the Kosher List

(There are two of them, as they use two different certification groups.)

Be sure to look at the list John P linked as well. Definitely check them all though, as I found some inconsistencies among them.

Ever since I heard that Tang is processed with gelatin, I can only guess that most of the processed food out there is somehow tainted. I hadn't heard this one yet...

There are a certain number of products that contain animal ingredients.. A list can be found on their site at:

Cheese is processed with an enzyme called "rennet." rennet usually comes from the belly of an animal, and they might be using pork rennet instead of cow rennet.

No but you'll look like a pig if you eat them! Stay away from junk food, it looks good now but will take years off your life!
