This needs to be investigated by your doctor. It is not normal for your heart to beat this fast. There could be several causes, but some common ones are Wolfe Parkinson White or SVT( super ventricular tachycardia). You may just need medication to slow the heart rate. Or, you may need a little more invasive procedure to slow the heart. This tachycardia can cause you to become short of breath and can also cause some tissue swelling in the lower extremities. I would not exercise again until you are evaluated. Some other causes of fast heart rate can be infectious causes, but unless you are running a fever, that would be unlikely.

You have an irregular heart rate which should be checked out professionally by a doctor. If may be due to a family history or you are taking a drug that is causing the irregular heart rate. Get this checked out immediately as it could lead to permanent damage or a heart attack. It appears you have a cholesterol problem that needs to be taking care of now, you are too young to continue like this.
