Turn them into artwork ... paint a cool canvas background color and glue them into place in a row with all but one with the tines up, and one of the center two down. Maybe leave some of the handles off or disconnected. No sense in no longer enjoying them!

I'm sure Amazon explains their policy somewhere on their site. It's not thier fault the flatware was crappy. And the policy makes sense. You are taking a chance on anything you buy, and Amazon isn't recommending the product. I'm afraid you're out of luck as far as getting a refund. Amazon is a good, honest and reliable service, so don't blame them.

I have only one suggestion. If you know the manufacturer of the flatware, find their website online and contact them. From your description, I would have thought that would happen, and wouldn't have bought them. Try finding and contacting the manufacturer of the flatware. I doubt they'll do much since they didn't push their product either, but it's worth a try if it's that important to you.

Some mistakes we just have to eat the cost and move on. Happens to the best of us. Good Luck.
P.S. (Better Business Bureau wouldn't help. Amazon is only adhereing policy that they've stated (clearly).. so nothing illegal was done by Amazon or unethical.)

what exactly would one do with neon green flatware? You must be a really interesting person.

Contact the BBB about it and see what they say...If the items didn't cost that much, put them on a shelf and buy some new ones. Save those for a picnic, or toss 'em....

I bet you washed the flatware in your dishwasher. This type of flatware must be washed by hand. Do you still have the packaging? I'm sure you will find it stated somewhere that it is only hand washable.
