If you are going to do hot dogs my kids always loved and still do octopi. Cut each hot dog onto 3rds , set it on its end and make an x for 4 legs or 2 x's for 8. make sure you leave about a1/8 to 1/4 for the head. you can cook them in water, grill them or in the microwave (watch them close) , as they cook their "legs" curl out . The kids love them! Make sure you have fruit and veggies too. Keep in mind how many toddlers you have because they won't be able to eat some food prepared the same way as bigger kids and adults.

Well, for kids that young there really is'nt alot of things to choose from. Hot Dogs are popular with kids of all ages, chicken nuggets, maybe even sloppy joes. Those are things you can feed to a smaller child, and the older kids will enjoy as well.

It would depend on your tastes, who you're inviting, your budget, and skill level.
If it were me, I'd do breaded chicken fingers with dipping sauce and fruit kebabs for the kids. (Now that he's 1, he can have berries)
Then for the adults I'd do a little more grown up version of the same meal with Chicken Satay skewers with spicy peanut sauce, with fruit sangria or balsamic strawberries over ice cream.
For the cake, it's a tradition that the baby gets a small cake to themselves, and a larger cake is made for everyone else.

I'm sorry I don't have a real answer for this question. I was going to say Macaroni and Cheese, but that is obviously not very original. But...PLEASE DO NOT listen to all these people saying HOT DOGS!!! Are they INSANE?? Hot Dogs are a very dangeroud food for toddlers. Hot Dogs, Balloons, and Hard Candy top the list of foods that children under three choke on. If you serve hot dogs, PLEASE cut them up into quarters.

You'll need two menu's actually. One for the kiddo's and one for the parents. The kids menu is pretty concrete I think. Most toddlers like foods they can easily digest, hold in their hands, and play with. Please consider peanut butter and jelly on whole grain bread cut into "fingers", organic baby carrots with dip, chicken tenders, and french fries. For the adults, you can get more creative and add some sophistication:
1. Large green salad with several dressings
2. French bread with herb butter and Parmesan cheese
3. Spaghetti with Meatballs and Italian Sausages
4. Fettucini Alfredo or Rigatoni in Marinara
5. Antipasti platters with olives, cured meats, provolone, and marinated veges.
6. Fruit kabobs with sour cream and brown sugar for dipping.
7. Strawberry Shortcake Trifle: pound cake, fresh strawberries mixed with sugar and liquor, french vanilla custard, and whipped cream all layered in a pretty glass bowl.
8. Mock Margarita Punch: 1 can frozen margarita mix, 1 can orange juice, 1 can pineapple juice, 2 liters of ginger ale, 2 bottles of sparkling water with lemon, 1 ice ring with lemon leaves and lemon slices. Mix juices and add sodas to taste. Yum!
Also consider bowls of nuts, or trail mix, or pretzels for folks to munch on.

you can buy chicken legs and just bake them on the oven with a little garlic salt.
then for side dishes we had macarronia and cheese..kids love that.

All of that sounds great!
As long as there is variety there, I`m sure they`ll all be happy! If you have a lot of kids coming, check about food allergies.
