my friend was diagnosed with diabetes last year along with hypertension, hypothyroidism, plus "female" problems. the problem is that the jobs around our area don't offer health insurance. she keeps getting sicker by the day and i have no clue about what to do. if anyone out there can help, i would appreciate you greatly.

If your friend is unwilling to educate herself on the subject, I guess you'll have to. Managing all those problems is not that difficult when armed with the right information. Just go to the link below, read it, get the "Diabetes Improvement Program" book, and help her start living a healthy life. http://www.geocities.com/seabulls69/Type_II_Diabetes.html

If you contact the Nevada Diabetes Association at ndaca@diabetesnv.org and tell them what city, state, and or country your friend lives in, they may be able to track down doctors and programs that can help.
