Cure is a misleading term to be using.
In the case of other viruses (polio for example) there are vaccines that can protect an individual from infection. This does not mean that it is cured.
The difficulty is that many virus that were believed to have been under control have also resurfaced.
It may be possible for our bodies to develop a natural immunity to HIV, but that would like take hundreds of generations to complete.

The researchers are not close at all to HIV cure.
I doubt it will be found in 5 years nor 10 years, maybe 15 years.
The researchers are just discover some different strains various of HIV comparing different countries in Africa and in USA.

no, the cure is safe sex.. they will not find a cure.. they may find a better treatment but as long as people keep their immune system compromised there will not be a cure as a virus knows how to change structure over and over so as soon as a cure occurs it will replicate with a new structure and be a new virus.. again, the only cure is to stop spreading it
