i have xp on my computer i boot it with bootable cd have win98se and winme i format D drive wrongly and after this i run setup of win98se but it is showing error
"message su0013"
"setup can not create startup drive and can no set up win98
if you have hpfs or ntfs you must create on msdos boot partition if you have lantastic server or super store compression disabe it before running setup"
what can i do for installation of win98
can i make the partition with bootable cd

1. Back up all personal data (copy to CD).

2. Format drive C: and create 4 partitions, the last for your data.

3. Install 98 on C:.

4. Install ME on D:.

5. Install XP on E:.

6. Copy your data to F:.

If done correctly, on power up, you will be able to choose which version of Windows you want to use.

Hi,

U have this error now, coz ur existing parition is in NTFS.

Win98 need Fat32. Use PQ Magic or create some free space and have that as Fat32 to load Win98.

Or else delete the complete partitions and load Win98 in "C" Drive and next u want to load WinXp or other load in "D" drive.
