I'm pretty sure professional groomers have tear free cat shampoos. Don't worry about the fleas since a lot of clean cats have litters that have fleas, and one can always get rid of those. If you have the kittens cleaned at the shop it won't spread to your house.
Probably your best bet for kitten food is a brand specifically marked for kittens, as kittens have a different nutritional need to adults. There are a lot of brands that are safe from the recall that suit a kitten's requirements.
The litter will depend on the cats, some don't mind using the same litter try, some refuse to share.

I would never buy a cat with fleas from a pet shop. In fact, I would make a complaint! There are so many strays taken to the Humane Society. I recommend you start looking there, or try the newspaper. Also when your shopping around, make sure you ask people if the kitten has any Health problems or fleas/ticks. Its really not that hard to get rid of fleas, but it can be costly. Good Luck & Take Care!

Most, if not all, kittens in pet stores come from commercial breeders (ALSO KNOWN AS KITTEN MILLS). These large-scale breeding facilities produce animal after animal, with only profit in mind. Cats are kept in rows of bare wire cages, fed low quality food, given prophylactic (preventative) veterinary care, and have little or no socialization with humans. They are considered livestock – not pets.
Cats purchased from pet stores have more health and behavioral problems than cats from professional breeders (or even the pound). Believe me, if you buy this cat, fles will be the least of your concerns!
Visit your local animal shelter instead! They take care of their cats and make sure they go to the right home. So if you want a shy cat - you'll get a shy cat. If you want a more active cat - that's what you'll get. The pet store could care less!
Visit http://www.petfinder.org to find the perfect cat for you. You will also be saving it's life - thousands of cats are put to sleep every year because people would rather waste money on pet store cats than adopt one from a shelter!

undesirable kitten! i'd spend the money and get her to the vet pronto. meanwhile, i'd propose so you might visual show unit for flea activities at your kitty's well-liked spots. the final element you like is for fleas to return and attack your kitty back or for fleas to alter aim and attack yet another creature (which include you) on your place. Fleas will basically attack one aim at a time. yet, flea bites are terrible! in case you notice any fleas, i'd get your vacuum purifier out and vacuum all areas of that spot or spots as quickly as an afternoon for a whole week or till you do not see to any extent further fleas. this ought to do away with any fleas and it incredibly is a plenty safer and extra fee effective option to fumigation or expert help. stable luck!

I would advise you to buy other kitten from another pet shop that is flea free! It would also show that this shop is not clean enough or shop owners do not care for their animals. And the flea would spread to other house pets!

I wouldn't buy a pet from a shop that has animals infested with fleas. Doesn't say much about the "professionalism" of the shop, does it?
