Weight gain is not an overnight development and realistically weight loss is also a slow process.Weight loss requires lifestyle changes as well as diet to be successful.Portion size is important as well as checking labels for calories, sugar, salt, fats, etc.Do not try fad diets that promote quick weight loss, they are seldom successful long term.May I suggest you don't weigh yourself every day, sometimes the scale can be your worst enemy.Check with your family doctor before starting any diet and exercise program. The doctor will be able to give you good advice afterall he is a trained health care professional.A doctor's job is to also teach you about preventative maintainance( i.e. fitness, nutrition, etc) Good luck

Consistency is the key! Weights first and then cardio. Eat what you enjoy but watch the portion size and stay away from chips, fast food and soda, etc. these things are toxic! Ok chips are good- just packed with fat, but the other stuff is toxic! Never give up! Stick with it as it will pay off
