Am I the only guy out there who feels closer to my father than my mother?

Well.. I am sure you have reasons why you are closer to your dad than your mum.
Typically the main reason would be who spent the most time with you and who has your interest at heart 100%. Who gives you a listening year and provide you with constructive ideas etc...
There si nothing wrong with that at all. In fact it is a very good relationship that you have with your father..Keep it up..

i feel closer to my dad....my mom is very much complex,every thing she takes complexly and very much selfish about her mom's houses's every one....she cares her mom's houses's every one more than we family members.......and, always do some mess whatever we do do! and, neevr supports whatever we decide....
.
dad is really cool with grace of Allah...intelligent, thinking and helping and freedom giving.
my case is reverse.....mothers should be like the way my dad is...coz, children seek this support and comfort usually from mother...unfortunately....we seek this near dad.

I'm closer to my mom because my dad wasn't really there.

It's normal. Girls for the dad and son's for mom.. It just happens that way.. No reasons.

my mum is very young and so we dont have a generation gap
i can talk freely abt anything to her
