i had the same problem when i was loosing weight. i bought jello frozen chocolate pudding pops.(sugar free) they pulled me thru the cravings, and i am down by 52 pounds. they tasted great, even though they were sugar free, they had no after taste. and i got accustomed to diet soft drinks, that was a little harder, but after about a week, they tasted just fine also. you'll get a thousand diet tips, but you just have to stick to it. best of luck, and hang in there. if i can do it, anyone can.

I'm on a diet that allows you to eat chocolate if you want it, lots of the girls on the same diet have a curly wurly, a light cadburys chocolate mousse and a fun sized mars bar each day as part of their daily allowance, I don't eat chocolate as it gives me migraines but for those who need their choccy this diet is great, I've lost 25lb in 10 weeks though I do have a fair bit to lose, you can pick up some tips yourself at www.slimmingworld.co.uk and see how good, healthy and sensible this diet is to do, good luck.

I have recently lost 6 stone and would still like to lose a bit more and it isn't easy, but I do feel if you really need a bit of chocolate then have a couple of chunks but only a couple, or if you cant do this the options drinks are only around 40 kcals and have the wonderful richness of chocolate. Well thats what I do.

I have a problem with temptation when it comes to eating! I usually eat what I want and go to the gym. However, to resist temptation make sure it is not in your sight. If you can't see chocolate, you can't eat it. Also maybe suck on some sweets instead? I always buy some dried apple rings and they really fill you up!

I am sorry and I am going to go against the grain but I think if you have a craving you should give in to it but in moderation. If you ban foods you tend to want more of them. Making it so you can have any foods but in moderation works better. There is no cheating and when there is no cheating you often dont want to bother. The bottom line is you will only be cheating yourself. Always get up each day determined to do well and dont worry about any passed problems. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Good luck

Just eat the chocolate... I don't mean eat 1 pound of it, but in moderation. A few Hershey kisses are not going to ruin your diet. besides your craving is not going to go away until you give it what it wants. So in the long run of things your going to ingest far more calories and fat by trying to curb your craving with other things. I like to get those Ghirardelli chocolate squares because they are really rich and it only takes one to satisfy my chocolate craving.

Rather than try to deny yourself treats, factor them into your diet. You will be much more successful if you are not constantly battling to "be good". Also, when you do over indulge, just make sure you stick to your plan the next 2-3 days. Real weight loss happens over time and what you do on any one day has little impact on the overall result.

I eat an extra strong mint (sugar free of course) or brush my teeth - it puts you off food until the temptation is over!

Set your personal machine alarm to ring hourly—stand upward for 1 to 5 minutes each and every time it goes off.

At breakfast, go ahead and drink orange juice. But throughout all of those other day, focus on water as an alternative to juice or soda
