Love, respect and trust, all of your things come after that, and number 2 is not always relevant at all, ever heard of the saying "opposites attract"?

1&2 doesn't matter at all. 3-5 are alright, but you leave out the most important aspects. Love, trust, respect, and communication. Without all of those a marriage is doomed.

There is a girl.she is very good looking.so you dated her .Then you found you both have the same interests then you have fun 2gether.
on the premise of you both have the same bkgrd socially & financially,
you think why don't we get marriaged?
so you get marriaged and you could pursue the same things you both wanted

I would say all of the above. I think they all play a part , but the main ingredient is communication followed by respect for each other.I have been married for 47 years this year so I feel that I can answer this with authority.

Marriage is and should be: An administration of a family, love, sacrifice, respect, patience, support, care, management of emotions, open minded discussions, positive & optimistic thinking, compromise, trust, time to each other & family, mutual understanding etc.
If you can do all that then hey thumbs up

I think a list of what matters most in marriage would be a lot more than 5 things!!!
Compromise is a BIIIIG part. And respect.
But there are many others...those are just two that popped in my head immediately.

LOVE!!! Marriage is nothing without the basic foundation of Love. If you have Love then nothing else matters. It's nice to have a good looking wife that wants the same things as you do, but if you are in love, then that is the basis for marriage.

Out of all of those, I would say either 4 or 5. Personally none of them topped my list as number one, but like I said, out of the choices, either 4 or 5.
