I think babies are born KNOWING which way they should go, and their parents and/or environment either encourage them to pursue it or warp their true knowledge.

Either way, we are all born with the ability to do good and evil deeds. Think of it as doorways. A child can pick which path they want to go down as they grow older. That is why society's influence really shapes what we all turn into.

I have had three kids and I can tell you that yes, we are all born with the nature of sin. The babies begin to use the art of manipulation the moment they cry and find out that they can get things by crying. It all starts off so innocently at first but they soon learn to blame and lie and bare false witness against their siblings. They also steal toys from one another and have rebellious attitudes at mealtimes. If you look at babies honestly, they have a SELFish nature right from the start. A selfish nature is a sinful nature. They might not know what they're doing, but they do it.

"Religious utopia". Nice. I don't think the two belong together. Sin is a man made device to make you feel bad for living. Under the guidelines of Christianity you are doomed to sin. Once out of the womb you are guilty. People will follow right along if scared enough. Only when you have freedom, do you have rebellion and question.

We are born with human natures. Perfect. Just the way God made us.

It is normal for babies to be selfish. When they get older, they rebel in order to become an independent individual. The religious aspect comes in when you rebel against God, meaning you want to be the boss instead of God being the boss.

Unfortunately, because of Adam and Eve, there is no way that a baby can be born into a religious utopia. The Word of God says that we are shaped in iniquity. Because of the Garden of Eden incident, sin was born engrafted into this world and will continue until God takes us home. May God Bless U.

I think we are all born neutral. Like a piece of paper. Then you draw whatever you feel like on it. A pure and innocent baby may grow up like Mother Teresa or the campus murderer. I think we are all infuences by external model roles like our parents, siblings, school mates, peers and the outside world. What causes us to do bad may be due to survival circumstances, peer pressure or if we are strong willed and brought up morally well, we rarely do any wrong (I wont say never do wrong ) or comit any sin. I think the baby would follow along like a sheep till it grows up enough to make up his own mind what he wants to be. The leader or the led. Or come what may.

The idea that we were born with an inherently sinful nature is a large amount of a brown disgusting semi-solid substance that has been eliminated from the digestive tract of a sexually functional male bovine.

relies upon on your thought of excellent and incorrect. suffering is a factor of the human adventure. we are meant to go through and to reason suffering to others. the element is to recognize this and strengthen ourselves so as that we are unsleeping and residing interior the present, thereby figuring out directly to end our own suffering and additionally so all of us know a thank you to instruct others in the event that they ask. the comprehensive play is "good" and there are no longer any "sins" if appeared at from a divine attitude. Divinity would not reject the evil of humanity, somewhat it accepts it as area of our dualistic nature: good/incorrect, sturdy/undesirable, exhilaration/soreness. We have already got a suitable nature, the trick is to recognize it. in case you have faith you're sinful, then bypass forward, I won't cease you. despite if in case you comprehend your inherent perfection good right here and now, then which way would you assert finally ends up in a greater useful existence? area of Jesus' message is that we are already suitable and one with God, yet we tend to love the drama of separation. be careful spouting dogma, do you somewhat understand what you stated or are you merely repeating the occasion line? Use your severe intelligence in case you go with to discover your guy or woman solutions. Then ultimately you validate your self.

Huh. Let me think. Why is bringing up children so hard? I've never had to tell my three year old to start making noise, to want everything for himself, to go against my distinct safety rules (like Don't touch the electrical socket etc). It is the other way around. We are all descendants of Adam and Eve and therefore inherit their DNA. Therefore sinful. We have to strive to make our children into decent people from the beginning. It doesn't matter what religion or lack of you are. It is still the same.

no body is born with any sinful nature,b'coz the infant has 100% heart at the time of birth,no mind state,to do good or evil rests with the mind and society/culture/civilization,secondly heart is the abode of divinity/god/truth,more one live in the company/command of one's heart...lives blissful/peaceful life and vice versa,if something indecent happens during childhood,i.e;due to the rewards of previous births&deeds commited.
