He typed botty and he meant botty. Booty is a more recent, cruder, more sexualized, hip-hop term for the same thing. Botty (rhymes with potty) is an older, cuter term. The kind of word mothers use with their small children.
As in, "Stop that, or I'll give you a smack on the botty!"
