If we are all the children of God, then doesn't that put us on the same level as Jesus, who was the son of God?

I'm the daughter of God!!! I'm so excited I am nearly wetting myself.

Beautiful question!! Jesus is the son of god, but so am I and everyone too. I think the difference with people who think he's the ONLY son is... THe O.T. bible says we had to kill animals at an altar to be cleansed and forgiven, different animals for different sins. So if one believes that malarkey, then they also believe Jesus died as a "sacrifice", which would make sense if God had sex with... I don't know himself I guess, then produced a "son" and had him die for sins. If you don't buy the O.T., then it would be better to think of Jesus as a man or prophet, who was evolved enough to do things the buddha spoke of such as: walk on water, control element (water), heal others using a high form of "Reiki", and at the same time be one with an omnipresent god, who allowed himself to die so he could show us how to love others, and how far he was willing to go to prove that. Plus he said "EVEN THE SMALLEST OF YOU CAN DO ALL I HAVE DONE AND MORE"

Just a couple of Bible verses to prove that NOT ALL OF US ARE GOD’S CHILDREN…

Proverbs 3:33: The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just. (How can your house be cursed if you are God’s child?)

John 8:44: Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

And take note: CONTRADICTIONS among “Christians” are very evident here on R&S.

(And to The Queen Has Spoken): There is no argument with John 3:16. God indeed so love the world…but not everybody responded intimately with this love. It’s just like a father has brought home a huge cake for his 4 children. Unfortunately, 1 of them prefer the neighbor’s pizza, one went to have a taste of his friend’s pasta, and one went away to a nearby ice cream shop. That’s why so many denominations today. Happy is he who receive the Father’s “cake”.

PS to the asker...
If all of us are God's children, what is hell for? But the Bible says many are going to hell and only few shall find heaven.

God bless…

Jesus Christ also said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
There is no fuss for me, I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Personal Savior.

No. The bible says that there are two kinds of Children, with a few differences in wording here and there. There are the Children of disobedience, and the Children of light. Those that trust God are those that he wants.

He doesn't want those who don;t trust Him.

Basically, he says that if you accept His Child, He will accept you as a child of his.

No we are not all God's children. Read John 8:44 it says, "You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. Vs 47 says, "He who is of God hears God's Words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God".

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Yes, it says all of us are God's children.
Jesus is the one, the only one, who was born without the original sin, and he is the only one who sacrificed his life to redeem God's children's sins.
