One thing I've found to be true is there are always people who like it and people who hate it.
You really can't please everyone but the main thing is that you are happy with your body and your choices. If someone else doesn't like it, ignore it because how they feel shouldn't matter.

Well im not a guy but i do have my lower left side of my lip pierced and i just have a tiny stud in there with a diamond, and i work in the hospitality industry, you wouldnt believe the amount of guys, from different backgrounds that have told me its a sexy little stud. Most of them dont even notice it the first few times they look at me, then the light catches the diamond and they look closer. All ages and types of men have noticed it, grandfathers, business men, boys just old enough to drink and fathers. I even had one bloke drag his 16 year old daughter in to meet me because she wanted her eyebrow done, but he suggested she get one like mine, because its more petite and feminine. Even most of the older more conservative women that come in like it.
Im sure tho that it would be a different story if i had a huge thick ring or spike or stud hanging out of it, but its a small diamond, im 27 years old, soon to be mother of my third child, and i only got it done about 2 years ago, i love it, feel naked without it, and all my regular customers comment when i dont have it in. I have never had a bad comment about it, not that im deluded to think no one doesnt like it, its just that there are more people who do like it, particularly my husband and youngest son.

I love questions like this, first of all, why are you concerned with what everyone else thinks of you? Second, if you are into piercings, and the guy isn't, then he is not the right guy for you. Everyone has their own style. I myself love piercings and tattoo's and I have quite a few of my own. Most of the guys I have dated have them, and even if they don't, they liked mine. Stop worring about what the general public thinks of you, and do what you want.

We ( humans), did that to slaves long,long time ago.NOW its cool. We also brand our live stock.! How silly of me .We call them Tattoo's. they must be cool too!
I wonder if castration will become cool too?
Anyway to answer your Question on how I would feel?
I'd still use my hands.
