Seems fair to me. At least then you can make a more informed choice on whether you still want to go through with it.

If that's how you feel, perhaps you should ask her if she just had her period while you ask her out. See what happens.

Heh heh heh.

I am laughing reading all the responses here. It seemed to me that the question was a metaphor for oral sex and that was how I understood it.

People are a bit more direct with language so they took you literally.

I always tell a man before oral sex...but usually to say that I would feel uncomfortable if he wanted to perform that with me due to having my period at that time. I don't give him the option because it would make me uncomfortable and it would be impolite to flat out reject him without an explanation. Of course, at that point we are sufficiently open with each other that if we are going to be physically intimate, we can talk about things like menstruation. If he doesn't want to talk or listen then he is not the man I want to bed.

If you bought her dinner and then pressured her for sex, maybe she just told you she had her period to get out of having sex with you, because you were being a jerk. Maybe you should rethink how you look at dating, because the way you're going, you're not going to get laid much. The question implies that you are looking to exchange dinner for sex. If a woman will have sex with you in exchange for dinner, you're saying she's a prostitute. Also, you're pretty confident if you think a woman will sleep with you just because you buy her dinner. Doesn't usually work like that.

Correction: "At least then you can make a more informed choice on whether you still want to take advantage of her."

She shouldn't have to tell you that sort of thing, and you are an a**hole if you were to cancel a date for that reason. Obviously you just want to get laid and don't appriecate the pleasure of her company. If you were to ask me a question like that you would get a slap across the face and I believe most other women would do the same.

no you sicko. if thats the case you better tell her your only buying her dinner to get in her pants ahead of time! then she can decide if one measly plate of food is worth sleeping with a pig like you!
